According to the Ease of Living Index ,Bengaluru is the most liveable city , followed by Pune,Ahmedabad ,Chennai and Surat . Delhi secured 13th rank in the category of Million -Plus Population . Amritsar ,Guwahati,Bareilly,Dhanadand Srinagar are at the bottom of the list .
Shimla topped the category of cities with population of less than million according to an Index released by Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri .
According to the government Ease of Living Index is an assessment tool which evaluates the quality of life and also takes care of the impact followed by various initiatives in the development of urban areas.
