Telangana's Capital, Hyderabad earns the title of 2020 Tree city of the World. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the Arbor Day Foundation had rewarded Hyderabad as 2020 Tree city of the World for the continuous effort of the state to maintain the urban forest and commitment to building a healthy city.
The other cities that earned the title are from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.
Hyderabad has set an example for other states too.
