The
kids of 21st century are different from other century’s kids because they are
born in computer world where they have easy access to everything. That is a
great thing but as we know everything have two sides positive and negative. So
for keeping kids in right track where they will learn and grow, they have to
posses some qualities which can be inculcated by their parents, guardians and
teachers.
Some qualities are as follows:-
1.
Creativity: - It's not like only grown-up can do creative things but kids can
also be creative like drawing, painting and many other ways are also there.
They don't have to be perfect in that. These small things would help them to
explore and find their interests. Their one step at a time will make them a creative
person.
2. Imagination skills: -
Imagination can help a person to lead real-life projects and for kids, they can
increase their creativity by imagination. Like when their parents or guardians
tell them small stories, they start imagining and try relate with them and also
through these stories, they will learn
moral values.
3. Self-awareness:- Kids
can also analyze themselves like what they like, what they don’t like, in what
field they have to work more to improve their performances. For example in
their subjects, they can know by their marks in their respective subjects like in
which subject they are good and in which subject they have to improve and how
they can inculcate other good qualities.
4. Self-control:- Having good self-control is an integral Part of a kid’s life for example by knowing
that junk food is harmful for their body they should not eat more of it,
excessive use of T.V or mobile phones is wastages of time and that also leads
to headache or eye problems, knowing that education is important for their
development they should invest more time in that.
5.
Communication: - Communication is important for kids. The parents should make
the environment in their homes where their kids can talk about different things
without any hesitation. Parents are the first teachers of children. They can
have discussions with their kids like how many friends they have, what had
happened in the school, how they reacted to a particular situation, how their
friends reacted etc. With their teachers they can talk about their queries
related to a subject that will also increase their curiosity level. They should
try to make transparency.
6.
Teamwork: - Everyone is interdependent. We cannot grow alone there is always
someone beside or behind us. Kids should not be self-centered. They should
learn to work with others, where they will get to know about different cultures,
behaviors with that they should also respect other’s opinions.
There are other qualities as well for example active listening, empathy and considering perspectives etc.
