Why watch Turkish series?
As technology spreads and evolves each day people get access to various
kinds of stuff. Turkish series is now getting popular in the world. We don’t
have to know the language to watch Turkish series, there are always subtitles.
In general, these series make us quickly engage in what we choose to watch. The
settings of the series are mostly colorful and attractive. The setting will be
the major source for one to go on with the series, it pleases your eyes.
Secondly, it is mostly not set in a dark tone but a little and there is a lot
of fun and weird characters to make you laugh. Of course, as the setting and
the plot is light the costumes inspire us a lot. They put tons of effort into
costumes to turn out well to keep the series bright.
Ask Laftan Anlamaz
This show premiered in 2016. Starring Hande Ercel as Hayat Uzun and
Burak Deniz as Murat Sarsilmaz. Hayat daughter of a fisherman living in
Istanbul. She is under a pressure either to get a job in Istanbul or to return
to her family in the countryside and get married. As she doesn’t want to get
married she tries her best to find a job. She applies for a job at a
Multinational Textile company. By some misunderstanding, she gets the job for
an assistant post for Murat who is the head of the company for which she did
not apply. She got the job only because she was expected as someone else for
the post, to whom the post was already reserved. Hayat pretends to be Suna
Pektas, who was supposed to get that job and a family friend of Sarsilmaz’s
family.
Erkenci Kus
Erkenci Kus aired on 2018 to 2019. This series is a complete rom-com starring Can Yaman as Can Divit and Demet Ozdemir as Sanem Aydin. Sanem, who is talented and a fun girl with a dream to become a writer. She helps in her father’s grocery shop. Later she finds a job in an advertising agency where her elder sister, Leyla is an executive assistant. Can who is to the son of the advertising agency’s owner is not interested in business and city life. Emre, brother to Can is already working in the agency disappointed with his father’s choice of wanting Can in taking over the company. Can is more like a wild person and he is interested in photography and nature, agrees to take over the company for the sake of his father’s wish and health. When Can confronts Sanem in the office he sees something different in her. In the world of business-minded and living a machine life, Samen being just an ordinary girl gains his attention for being more like a human. But Senem is in search of the mystery guy with whom she fell in love, with no identification of him and even not knowing his face. On the other hand, she is also attracted to Can and feels guilty for spying on him as she was told by Emre to do so.
