science fiction genre whether its in books or movies but how many science
fiction writers do you know about? Let’s know about the most famous science
fiction writers!!
People who
are starting to explore the unknown and unpredictable world of science fiction
should definitely start with these writers: -
1) H.G. WELLS
Herbert George Wells is also known all over the world as the father of
science fiction. He has penned many famous sci-fi books such as The Invisible
Man, The Time Machine, The War of the Worlds and The Sleeper Awakens etc. and
some of his most famous works have also been adapted in screenplay. Starting
your sci-fi journey with H.G. Wells is both suspenseful interesting and
worthwhile.
2) JULES VERNE
Personally, Jules Verne is my favourite sci-fi writer. If you like to read
about incredible, heart wrenching adventures though seas, mountains even space
Jules Verne is the way to go. Some of his most famous works are The Journey to
the Centre of the Earth, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Around the
World in 80 days and The Mysterious Island etc. these works have been also
adapted into screenplay but reading these masterpieces would be much more
interesting. Jules Verne is a master story teller and will immerse you into his
world of mysteries and out of the world adventures.
3) MARY SHELLEY
Mary Shelley penned the famous Frankenstein. There is no one who doesn’t
know about Frankenstein from children to adults everyone knows of it. Mary
Shelley usually writes gothic sci-fi novels such as Frankenstein, The Last Man,
Valperga, Mathilda etc. If you like dark gothic novellas then Mary Shelley is
the way to go.
4) ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON
Robert Louis Stevenson is another very famous writer. He penned many masterpieces such as the famous Treasure Island. Other than Treasure Island he has penned many famous books and created many famous characters such as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a very famous sci-fi book and a book one should read at least once.
With the above list anyone who is a beginner in science fiction genre can
easily start to take interest in this very interesting, very adventurous
journey with creatures and plot twists which are out of this world quite
literally.
