1. Speed: - The speed of carrying out the given instruction
logically and numerically is incomparable between a computer and a human being.
The speed of the computer is specified in terms of nanoseconds and in Pico
seconds, whereas human being requires more time to perform these functions.
The computer can perform and give instructions in less than a millionth of a
second.
2. Easily available: - Through computer system terminals can be used, and
people can access the information from different places. And they will also get
updates whenever the change takes place.
3. Accuracy: - The computer calculates very accurately and the computer never does
mistakes although we often hear about the false results of computers. This may
be due to the error in data entry or due to a poorly designed program. A computer never does mistakes. It works on the principle of “Garbage In, Garbage Out”.
4. Versatility:- There was a time when computers were only used as a
calculating machine, but nowadays computers cans also carry out logical
operations, store files, playing games, GPRS, etc. Any job can be
computerized with the help of appropriate software. Limited sets of
instructions are needed though.
5. Increase accessibility: - The internet has increased the accessibility,
storage, knowledge for the organization, and distribution of information. The use of the internet will also dramatically lower the transaction and agency costs facing
most organization
