A Fun Trip To The Transport Museum!!!

Have you guys ever done this before? When you go out to a mall or for some work and while returning home you take the longer route, a route you have never taken before and think that if you can’t get to your destination through that route you will just turn back and take the usual way home but instead you stumble upon something astonishing? Something that wasn’t there before, something very different from the places you usually see? Well, me and my family do this a lot and almost every weekend we go out exploring, not necessarily find something but just to refresh our minds and to put some colour in our generally a very monotonous and boring life.

One day we were returning home and we decided that we would take a different route, one we have never used before, so we kept going and going and going and when we were about to turn back, we stumbled upon a very beautiful and a very modern looking building. Outside the building were 3 very old Rolls Royce cars and by old, I mean really old but those cars were in excellent condition. We then saw a board which said “HERITAGE TRANSPORT MUSEUM”, I have always been a sucker for museums so I convinced my parents to go there.

Heritage Transport Museum is one of our major museums dealing with human transport. It is situated at Tauru in the gurugram district of Haryana. It is situated on 3.01 acres and has 95,000 sq. feet of exhibition galleries. This museum not only has samples of life size cars of different eras of our country it also gives us a good idea about the details of parts used in cars, how those parts work, from heavy machinery to small sized machines the transport museum has all the kinds of information a person may need about cars. The machinery is explained in detail with working models that you can touch and learn from in depth.

The Heritage Transport Museum has collections of different modes of Transport, it has aeroplanes of different times from the first type of aeroplane to the modern kind we travel on today, it has different kinds of boats, ships etc and recently they have added trains and the now almost extinct tram. This also makes it a selfie paradise, people who love getting their pictures clicked can enjoy this beautiful museum and take numerous selcas at the same time.

Even though it is “HERITAGE” Transport Museum it won’t be long before our beloved cars in which we go to do our daily work joins them because due the climate changes caused by global warming every country is switching to a more sustainable alternative which would be electric cars, electric cars will soon dominate the market and these cars which use petrol and diesel will become history like trams of Kolkata. It is a must visit place filled with knowledge and beauty of the once iconic now vintage vehicles that were used decades ago.
