UP Police to Track the Internet Searches
related to Pornographic material in the name of Women’s Safety.On Saturday UP
Police have formed a team to keep an eye
on the people who are surfing pornographic content across the state. This step is taken to put an end
to sex crimes in the state. Neera
Rawat, the additional director general of 1090 said “By doing this, the crime
will be stopped at the initial process itself”.
The initiative was taken by the UP Govt. is questionable. Is it right to assume that only sex offenders watch porn?
Porn is already banned in India by the Government, despite the fact the viewership of porn content keeps on rising. A report revealed that in India, 89% of people watched porn on their mobile devices.
