Who and what put them emotionally down?
We all agree life is mostly a bunch of problems experienced
and left unsolved. We all once a teenager, by stepping in the world of teens
and walking straight through adulthood. But the path they walk is
transformational, they begin questioning their lives, experimenting thoughts
and self-discover them. Precisely this is the phase of messing things up. Parents find problems in their
children. They question their behaviors like why they are so annoying, moody,
confused and why they don't talk. Of course they are these problems but it's
the problems they are stuck in. Society puts them on a pedestal and toss them
the very next day when they stop acting as they were expected to. Though the
kid try ignoring the pressure but it obviously changes the thought process then
which leads to behaviour changes. At this moment they are stuck in between the process of
culture, not knowing what the world expects from them. Culture has always been
the transition yet three-fourths of the people don't agree and stand for what
they follow by not seeing the suffering their kids go through. Teens and young
adults don't feel comfortable talking about things with their parents they find
alternative ways that are drugs. They start caring about nothing and the lack
of point of view on their side to the world is mostly unacceptable then that
automatically leads to the thoughts that "it's okay to be bad if they
already frame me bad".
The Result:
Some teens even turn to study aid drugs like Adderall
or Ritalin because they believe these substances will boost their academic
performance and they do these when there is pressure. In terms of illicit
drugs, it's said that teenagers mostly abuse Marijuana as they are available
easily, in the survey it's said that if you start using an illicit drug before
you're 18 then 25% chance of becoming addicted after 21 then 4% of addiction.
We might wonder where they get those things but we should know that a troubled
soul would do anything to ease agony.
