Irrfan Khan’s son Babil fondly remembers him as he attends the International Film Festival of India

As the Internation Film Festival of India has successfully kickstarted in Goa, a special screening of Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ was held today to honor the late actor. While the event was attended by Irrfan’s wife, Sutapa Sikdar, and their son, later Babil Khan took to his social media handles to fondly remember his father.

Revealing the happiness of being able to the actor on the big screen, Babil shared some throwback pictures with Irrfan and poured his heart out on Instagram. He wrote, “Today, I need to share this as @iffigoa made it possible to watch and hear him on the big screen one more time, that too in Paan Singh Tomar. (This man exuded younger energy than me in his late 40s even)

Meanwhile, on seeing a late husband and the legendary actor on the big screen, an emotional Sutapa also shared her feeling during the event. She said, “It was a very brave decision to step out of home and attend the festival. One needs closure to walk ahead and IFFI is a closure for me, it is like being there for what we have done 30 years ago as students. It feels nice to be here together to celebrate the person and IFFI couldn't have chosen a better film because this film talks about a race and reaching the finishing line. Irrfan's finish line came too soon but we are proud of him.”
